Campaign launched as Ghana observes World Autism Day

A campaign to create more awareness about autism has been launched in Accra to get more opinion leaders involved in dealing with stigmatisation of autistic children and their families.

The campaign which is being done by The Africa Autism Awareness Project, TAAAP, an NGO, is to reach one million people with information about the disorder within a year. 

This comes as the world marks Autism Day.
