Inflation up at 19%

Ghana’s inflation rate now stands at 19%. 

A 1.3% increase over the 17.7% recorded last December. 

The Deputy Government Statistician, Baah Wadieh, attributed the rise in the recent increase to utility tariffs and transportation fares.
