Five injured after storey building under construction collapsed in Accra


At least five persons have sustained injuries after a storey building under construction around the Kotoka International Airport area, collapsed on them on Saturday February 6, 2016.

The building is located between Holiday Inn and Marina Mall around Airport in Accra.  
Reports say the injured, were working on the building when it collapsed.

It is not clear what might have caused the building to collapse.

Officials of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), and the Ghana Police Service are said to be at the scene to assess the situation.
