2nd February, 2016 The Ghanaians Times calls for calm in the CPP after its successful National Delegates Congress. The Paper bemoans internal conflict in the party after what it described as the first victory on the road to the general election this year. It says accusations and counter accusations of bribery levelled against the newly elected flagbearer of the party Ivor Greenstreet were unnecessary and uncalled for. The paper is surprised that party stalwarts such as Professor Agyeman Badu Akosa and former chairperson of the party, Samia Nkrumah who was Ivor Greenstreet's main competitor are the genesis of the internal conflicts. The Times hopes the enthusiasm which was injected into the party's innovative TV debate would serve as a springboard to sell its brand to Ghanaians. GBC
