Government considers joint venture arrangement to revive TOR Government says it is committed to facilitating the Joint Venture arrangement with PetroSaudi to help revive the Tema Oil Refinery. The Deputy Minister of Energy and Petroleum, John Jinapor, said this when he appeared on the floor of Parliament to answer questions relating to the Ministry. The first question stood in the name of the MP for Talensi, Robert Mosore, who wanted to know whether the Tema Oil refinery is operating at full capacity. In response, Mr Jinapor said the refinery’s problem has to do with inability to procure crude oil. The Deputy Minister also answered another question posed by the MP for Afigya Kwabre, South William Aidoo, on what is accounting for the current power outages and exactly when the outages will end.
