Woman arrested for possession of cocaine at Heathrow airport to appear in court this afternoon Nayele Ametefe, the woman arrested for trafficking of 12.5kg of cocaine to the United Kingdom is due to appear before a judge later this afternoon via video link. It is expected that the lady will appear before the court at a preliminary hearing where her plea will be taken. In an earlier interview with officials of the Ghanaian mission in London, Ms Ametefe claimed she thought that the item handed over to her was gold. She was not however prepared to disclose the identities of those working with her, insisting that she was ready to go to jail. Her plea today will determine the length of the hearing. GBC
