NCA launches Type Approval Portal in Ghana

The National Communications Authority, NCA, has launched an on-line portal which will enable stakeholders, including the public to access relevant information about application procedures.

It will also provide database of electronic communications equipment imported and sold in the country.

The procedure aims at reducing inferior communications equipment and eventually eliminating paper work regarding registration with the NCA.

The Deputy Director of NCA, Albert Enninful, who launched the portal, said the Authority has intensified collaboration the Customs and Excise Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority to ensure that the country's entry points are manned by well-informed personnel of the service.
