AMA Reacts To District League Table Position The Chief Executive of the AMA, Alfred Vanderpuije, says he is greatly concerned about the slow pace at which the Finance Ministry is dealing with funding for the Konti project. He said the permanent solution to problems bedeviling the metropolis regarding sanitation lies with the Konti project. Mr Vanderpuje was reacting to the AMA being ranked 35th in the District League Table which was released yesterday. Sanitation was one of six indicators considered in the ranking. Mr Vanderpuije however told Radio Ghana that he is proud at the position of the AMA. On the next National Sanitation Day which falls on the 6th of next Month, Mr Vanderpuije said the Assembly is stepping up education and engagement to ensure that more people participate in the event.
