WILDAF calls for passage of Affirmative Action Bill The Women in Law and Development in Africa, WILDAF, has called for an immediate passage of the Affirmative Action Bill into a law. It says it is disheartening that all policies affecting women always delay adding that it is an indictment on gender equality. Speaking at a press briefing in Accra, the Programme Manager in charge of governance, WILDAF, Frank Brodza, said women are the main contributors of taxes and should be given the opportunity to have a say in the decision making. He called on the Gender Ministry to as a matter of urgency push for the passage of the bill in the next two months to cause a paradigm shift. GBC
