Government Dissolves NACOB Governing Board President John Dramani Mahama has dissolved the Governing Board of the Narcotics Control Board. A statement from the Flagstaff House and signed by the Chief of Staff Prosper Bani said: “Further actions will follow in due course.” Meanwhile, a Security Analyst at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre, Dr. Kwesi Ennin has called for a bi-partisan commission to look into narcotic trade in Ghana. He said until such a commission is established, Ghana will be in some trouble with narcotics trade. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr. Ennin said the dissolution of the NACOB board cannot be a face-saving measure because the board does not take day to day decisions of NACOB. He told Radio Ghana's Supervising Chief Editor, Teye Kitcher that narcotics of such quantity cannot leave the shores of Ghana without a support network. GBC
