Trade Minister proposes implementation of GCAP on pilot basis The Minister of Trade and Industry, Ekwow Spio-Garbrah has proposed that the GCAP programme of the Ghana Standard Authority which is on hold should be implemented on a pilot basis. He said high risk goods should be targeted first, because their negative effects on human lives cannot be over emphasised. Mr Spio-Garbrah was of the view that the nation's human resource base must not be compromised for economic gains.
