Major Shake-up To Hit Power Sector 


There is set to be a major shake up in the country's power sector. Sources close to the Flagstaff House have told Radio Ghana that the changes to be announced by President Mahama is aimed at tackling some loopholes identified in the power sector. 

Radio Ghana can also confirm that the impending Shake-up is as a result of careful monitoring over the last few months of the power supply challenges and a review of what has been found to be poor customer engagement and management practice by Utility providers. 

There have been lots of complaints from many Ghanaians because of the rather erratic supply of power to many localities. This uncoordinated power outages is not only affecting businesses but destroying gadgets of consumers. 

President Mahama, is expected to make some new appointments to various boards. The appointments will also affect the Energy Ministry.
