Daniel Kenu, Ashanti Regional Correspondent of Graphic Dismissed

The Management of Graphic Communications Group Limited has dismissed its Ashanti Regional correspondent Daniel Kenu for acting disloyally and unilaterally by withdrawing an assault case on him which was being pursued in a Kumasi Circuit Court.

The dismissal letter, dated the 17th of this month and signed by the Acting Director, Human Resource and Administration, Justice Sarpong, said Management had written to Mr. Kenu and assured him of its support and had specifically instructed him to consult management on any move he wanted to take regarding the case.

The letter said Mr. Kenu's failure to disclose his intention to management to discontinue the case has brought the image of the company into disrepute and also constitutes gross misconduct and disloyalty, hence the summary dismissal.
