Black Stars Urged To Win Match To Qualify For AFCON 2015 The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga has on behalf of government sent a goodwill message to the Senior National Football Team, the Black Stars, ahead of their 2015 AFCON qualifier match against the Hawks of Togo this afternoon. In the message, the Minister urged the team to win the match to qualify for Equatorial Guinea. Mr. Ayariga expressed confidence the team will put the injuries behind them, and put up a spirited performance to win the match convincingly. He further urged them to avoid any tendency to be complacent. The Youth and Sports Minister appealed to every Ghanaian to remember the Black Stars in their prayers, and also troop to the Tamale Spots Stadium in their numbers to support the team. Meanwhile, Defender Baba Rahman says the team is psychologically prepared for today's game against Togo. Interacting with the media, he said, the injury problems bedeviling the team will not in any way affect its performance.
