23 arrested in connection with Wa clashes

Twenty three persons have been arrested in connection with clashes in the Wa municipality. 

Twelve people who were injured in the clashes are said to be in stable conditions and receiving treatments. 

The Wa Municipal Executive, Issaka Nuri, said the REGSEC has been holding meetings with the factions involved in the clashes. 

He described the Wa municipality as peaceful and calm.
