Catholic Bishop says every Ghanaian is culpable when engaged in corruption The Catholic Bishop of Tamale, Bishop Philip Nammeh says, the Catholic Bishop's Conference and the Church are not professing that they are 'Holier than Thou' when it comes to issues of corruption. In his view, corruption taints everyone; as such Ghanaians irrespective of faith or creed are culpable one way or the other. Throwing light on to communique issued last week on the endemic nature of corruption, Bishop Nammeh said people placed in leadership positions seem to be making compromises for personal gain. Bishop Nammeh commended Government for setting up Committees of enquiry into some alleged corrupt practices. He however stressed that more will be achieved if punitive measures are taken to deter people in positions of trust and authority from engaging in corruption. GBC
