Every Ghanaian Is Culpable In Issues Of Corruption - Bishop The Catholic Bishop of Tamale, Bishop Philip Naameh, says the Catholic Bishops’ Conference and the Church are not professing that they are 'Holier than Thou' when it comes to issues of corruption. In his view, corruption taints everyone as such Ghanaians irrespective of faith or creed are culpable one way or the other. Throwing light on the communiqué issued last week on the endemic nature of corruption, Bishop Naameh said people placed in leadership positions seem to be making compromises for personal gain. Bishop Naameh commended Government for setting up Committees of enquiry into some alleged corrupt practices. He however stressed that more will be achieved if punitive measures are taken to deter people in positions of trust and authority from engaging in corruption. GBC
