Need for Africa to forge closer ties with diaspora emphasised

The third meeting of the Global Alliance of Mayors and Leaders from Africa and of African descent has ended in Accra.

A communiqué issued at the end of the meeting emphasised the need for stronger ties and cooperation between Africans and those in the diaspora.
