Media Cautioned Against Ethical Violations The month of May to August recorded an increase in the violation of the GJA Code of Ethics. A research by the Media Foundation for West Africa revealed a total of 508 ethical breaches. These according to experts are fallouts from the liberalisation of the media and an indictment on their mandate. Commenting on the upsurge in violations, the President of the Salt and Light Ministries, Dr Joyce Aryee advised the media to be skeptical and think critically when disseminating information. She called on media regulators to reinforce the rules and regulations and sanction anyone who breaches the code. GBC
