MODEC defies order to reinstate sacked workers

Management of MODEC has defied orders from the Petroleum Commission to reinstate its sacked workers.

The commission yesterday met with MODEC over the issue but after consultation MODEC stated that the worker cannot be reinstated.

The TUC and stakeholders are also piling up pressure on MODEC to reinstate the sacked workers.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Deputy General Secretary of the General Transport, Petroleum and Chemical Union, Francis Sallah said the matter has been taken to the National Labour Commission.
