Ebola scare: SSNIT considers proposal to insure health personnel

The leadership of SSNIT is considering the proposal presented to government by labour organisations for health personnel who will be dealing with Ebola patients should the disease be recorded in the country to be insured.

The Head of Disease Surveillance of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Badu Sarkordie who announced this at an interaction with Chief Executives of media organisations said government is considering weekly remuneration and incentives for front line health personnel taking care of Ebola patients.
