Ghana joins global community to mark Diabetes Day

It is estimated that about 70,000 children develop diabetes each year.

This according to the National Diabetes Association Ghana is appalling.

Speaking on the occasion of World Diabetics Day in Accra, the President of the Association, Elizabeth Denyoh says Ghana has over four million diabetics.

She says it is disheartening that the association does not receive funding from government and this is impeding the fight against diabetics.
