Ashanti NDC holds congress to elect executives

The Ashanti Regional Branch of the National Democratic Congress is holding its congress today in Kumasi to elect its executives to run the affairs of the party in the region for the next four years.

48 members approved by the vetting committee of the party are contesting the eight regional executive positions.

The Electoral Commission is supervising the election.
