First flow of Natural gas to Atuabo Gas Processing Plant Recorded

Natural gas has started flowing from the jubilee fields to the
Atuabo Gas processing plant.

The process began with the flow of 16 million standard cubic feet of gas for pre-commissioning and commissioning. 

The Director of Communications of the Ghana Gas Company, Alfred Ogbami in an interview with Radio Ghana said the company is waiting for the Energy Commission's order to start the flow of Gas to the VRA. 

He described the first flow of gas as the beginning of great things for the ordinary Ghanaian.

Mr. Ogbami said the media misrepresented issues raised by the Energy Commission on the said specific mechanical works being
undertaken at the plant.
