Gender Ministry undergoes restructuring to cater for aged in society

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection is undergoing strategic restructuring to deepen its mandate of catering for the aged and vulnerable in society for national development.

In line with this, a new office known as the National Targeting Office has been established to use a transparent and scientific approach to determine vulnerable persons who need actual social protection.

The sector Minister, Nana Oye Lithur disclosed this at the inaugural meeting on the National Ageing Policy in Accra.
