Prominent Pastor Dr Myles Monroe & Wife Died in Plane Crash

The world received some bad news today, as a significant member of the faith-based community lost his life in an untimely and unfortunate fashion.

A prominent pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries, Dr Myles Munroe, and his wife Ruth were killed in a plane crash in Grand Bahama.  

The crash occurred this weekend and all nine people onboard the private jet lost their lives.  

According to reports, the plane hit a crane at Grand Bahama Ship Yard, which led to a crash and explosion.

The report said the jet was departing Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) and headed for the Grand Bahama International Airport.  

The plane’s crash occurred during landing, according to the Department of Civil Aviation.  Original reports stated that two people had died, but later reports claimed that everyone on board is dead.  The group on the plane was headed to a conference that was to be hosted by Dr. Munroe.

Meanwhile, the police have stated that a full investigation will ensue to determine the cause of the crash.

Dr. Myles Munroe was 60 years old at the time of the crash.  As president and founder of Bahamas Faith Ministries International, Dr. Monroe was respected around the globe.  He was the author of 69 books and a highly demanded motivational speaker.

Dr Monroe will be missed.  His work was appreciated, and will be remembered for his contributions long after he is gone.
