MDAs Urged To Invest In Tourism Sector

Municipal and District Assemblies as well as investors in the Upper West Region have been challenged to invest heavily in the tourism sector.

According to the Ghana Tourist Authority, the tourism sector has a huge potential of creating jobs and reducing poverty in the region if properly done.

The Acting Deputy Executive Director in charge of Finance and Administration of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Sampson Donkoh stated this at the 2014 Upper West Regional Tourism Awards night in Wa.
