Seamstress, 49, dies after Fall Into Well A Forty-nine year old seamstress, Monica Azriah, on Sunday fell into a well and died in Sekondi, as a result of a water shortage. In an interview, the sister of the deceased, Ernestina Azriah, said the body has been sent to the Effie-Nkwanta Regional Hospital for autopsy. The Sekondi Metropolitan Fire Service Operational Commander, Emmanuel Apprey said his office received distressed calls about the incident and rushed to the scene to retrieve the body. He added that, the body was handed over to the police. The Metropolitan Crime Officer, ASP Ben Baah, noted that the police have cordoned off the area to ensure security and safety of the people. GBC
