Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah African Genius Awards receives volumes of nominations 

The Centre for Communications and Culture, which is advocating the development of a national agenda on culture, says it is amazed at Ghanaians demonstration of patriotism and faith in the legacy of the country's first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

According to the Centre, this is evident by the response to a call for nominations, inviting persons of achievement for the conferment of the Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah African Genius Awards.

Executive Director of the Centre, Enimil Ashon told Radio Ghana that the centre has received volumes of nominations from people like renowned musicologist Ephraim Amu, Ave Kludze, a Ghanaian born US resident who is a pioneer in rocket science and many others.

The Centre for Communications and Culture believes that Africa cannot succeed as a continent without Nkrumah's vision.
