Democracy is about the application of rule of law- Prof Richard Amoako Baah

The Head of the Political Science Department of KNUST, Professor Richard Amoako Baah, says democracy is not about voting but the application of the rule of law.

He said the electorate should see positive changes in their lives such as respect of the fundamental human rights and equal access to social and economic activities in a democracy.

These unfortunately are not seen in the democratic dispensation in most African countries.

Prof Amoako Baah made the point on Radio Ghana's news analysis programme 'Behind the News'.
