Residents express gratitude to Gov’t for installation of streetlights

Residents on the American House and Madina stretch of road in Accra have expressed gratitude to government for installing street lights on the roads.

According to a cross section of commuters in that area who have fallen victim to robbery attacks and accidents said the installation of the street lights will help minimise all forms of road menace.

Residents and commuters on that road told Radio Ghana, that they wish the installation of the street lights will be extended to all other areas of the municipality.

While there is need for street lights on all roads, the issue of miscreants who go round stealing bulbs and metal rails on roads to safeguard both motorists and pedestrians must stop.
