Dr Jehu-Appiah on women's reproductive rights in Ghana

A Ghanaian woman has a one in thirty-five chances of dying from a pregnancy-related cause.

Complications from unsafe abortion can also lead to over twenty percent of maternal deaths.

This was made known by the Country Director of IPAS Ghana, Dr. Koma Jehu-Appiah at a seminar organized by the Musicians Union of Ghana, MUSIGA, on the promotion of women's reproductive rights.
