ECOWAS holds emergency meeting today in Accra Heads of State and Governments of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) will this morning hold an emergency meeting in Accra. The two day meeting which is a follow up to the Health Ministers meeting held also in Accra will discuss the Ebola disease and the recent crisis in Burkina Faso. Officers of the World Health Organisation and the Center for Disease Control will also be attending the meeting. Major roads in some parts of Accra will be blocked to motorists today and tomorrow. This is to ensure a successful ECOWAS meeting on Ebola to be held at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra. GBC
