Law Lecturer suggests  review of the constitution where Speaker of Parliament is often sworn-in

A Senior Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law, Maxwell Opoku Agyeman, says he does not subscribe to the practice where the Speaker of Parliament is always sworn-in as President anytime the President and the vice President are out of the country.

In his view, technological advancement has made it easy for the President to communicate and also take decision when he is out of the country.

He has therefore suggested a second look at the constitution for a possible review.
