Antibiotics Abuse And Repercussions

The increasing abuse of antibiotics has opened the flood gates to a host of multi-drug resistant bacteria which is now a global challenge. Health experts say if the trend continues it may result in needless deaths because diseases no longer respond to treatment. To elicit change in behaviour, the Centre for Science and Health Communication has sensitised the media on the effect of antibiotics abuse. A report by Sarah Ofori.
