GAF Mourns With Family Of Corporal Emmanuel Taana

The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Richard Opoku-Adusei has visited the families of the late Corporal Emmanuel Taana and his wife, Comfort Taana who died through domestic wild fire at the old Uadara Barracks in Kumasi to console and mourn with them on the untimely death of their relatives.

He extended the condolence of the Chief of the Defence Staff to the bereaved family and described the incident as a blow to the Ghana Armed Forces.

He also assured the families of the military high command’s assistance during this period, especially in the funeral arrangement adding that compensations will be paid to them in accordance with regulations of the service.
