IGP commends media for being effective collaborators 

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Alhassan, has given the media thumbs up for helping to expose bad nuts within the Service.

He said despite excesses of the media, they have been effective collaborators in helping to shape the profession.

The IGP stated this at a media soiree in Accra.

The IGP outlined some of the interventions the Police Service has introduced to reduce crime and inject professionalism.

The GJA President, Roland Affail Monney, expressed the preparedness of the media to collaborate with the Police Service in its pursuit to ensure a society free of crime.
