Low turnout recorded at voter's Registration Exhibition Centres There are reports of low patronage of the current exhibition of the voters register across the country. Political parties are taking steps to encourage their members to visit the centres to cross check their details. The political parties have however blamed the EC for failing to adequately educate Ghanaians on the start of the process. They said the EC should be the only institution held responsible for the low turnout. First the NDC's National Organiser, Yaw Boateng Djan, who says the party has noticed the low turnout and has put in place measures to address the issue. The Director of Elections for the CPP, Kwabena Bomfeh said the party has directed its Regional Executives to encourage members to take the exercise seriously. The NPP has also directed its Communicators and Regional Executives to ensure that members of the party cross-check their names on the register. Samuel Awuku is the National Organiser. The Electoral Commission says it cannot take the blame for the low turnout in the on-going National Voters Register Exhibition.
