Disability Union Officer calls for transparency and accountability for persons with disability

The National Advocacy Officer of the Ghana Federation of Persons with Disability, Isaac Tuggun has called for transparency and accountability in the utilisation of the two percent of the District Assemblies allocation to persons with disability.

Speaking at a press briefing on misapplication of funds for persons with disability in Accra, Mr.Tuggun said the fund management committees in the districts sometimes misuse the monies in their custody without any explanation to the beneficiaries.
