Fisheries Ministry condemns attacks on Enforcement Personnel

The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Sherry Ayittey, has condemned the recent attack on the Fisheries Enforcement Unit in Akplabnanya in the Volta Region.

 At a press briefing in Accra, Madam Ayittey said Ghanaians no more experience the fishing season because of wrong fishing practices.

She said the Ministry is determined to clamp down on any illegal fishing practices.
