Bawumia re-nominated as Nana’s running mate

The NPP has re-nominated Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia as a running mate to the party's flagbearer, Nana Akuffo Addo.

This was announced at the party's headquarters' this afternoon.

Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia received an overwhelming endorsement from the National Council.

Prior to the endorsement, Nana Addo met the Council members to justify why Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia is the suitable candidate. 

He said that Bawumia’s rich economic background and experience over the years make him the best among the rest.

Dr. Bawumia partnered Nana Akuffo Addo during the 2008 and 2012 elections.
