Minister of Employment and Labour Relations appeals to striking workers to go back to work

The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Haruna Iddrisu has asked public sector workers to allow government play a lead role in managing their pension scheme.

He says the law sees it as an employer sponsored scheme and not employee scheme and that government perceive a risk with the management of the pension fund by Unions.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr Haruna said when the scheme is made employer led Pension schemes will be save.
