Fmr Prez Rawlings, Professor Kwaku on verge of settling court case

Progress has been recorded in the out of court settlement in the case involving former President Jerry John Rawlings and former High Commissioner of Ghana to the UK, Prof Kwaku Danso-Boafo, over the launch of a book about the former president. 

The book titled, “JJ Rawlings and the Democratic Transition in Ghana” was scheduled for launching on the 20th of August this year. 

However, former President Rawlings instituted legal action against the author of the book Prof Danso- Boafo, seeking an injunction against the launch for what he described as a breach of a solemn undertaking by the Professor and going contrary to an arranged agreement.
