US to work with African countries to fight Ebola

The U.S. says it has put a special focus with extra efforts in Liberia because that country is currently carrying the greatest disease burden and has the highest rates of Ebola. 

USAID's Assistant Administrator for Bureau of Democracy Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance, Nancy Limbourg who made this known said teams from the Centre for Disease Control are working closely with health personnel to try to contain the disease in that region. 

She said all other African countries such as Guinea and Sierra Leone are not left out of the efforts. 

Ghana and other countries which have also not yet recorded any Ebola case are also being assisted to put in place measures to contain the disease should it surface.
