Health Minister cautions ambulance drivers to observe road traffic regulations

The Minister of Health, Dr Kwaku Agyemang Mensah has cautioned drivers of the National Ambulance Service to observe road traffic regulations and strictly adhere to them. 

He said though their work entails emergencies, they should avoid unnecessary speed in their bid to save lives.

Speaking at the passing out parade of 196 Emergency Medical Technicians of the National Ambulance Service in Accra, Dr Agyemang Mensah said sanctions will be applied on anyone whose behaviour will bring the integrity of the National Ambulance Service and the Ministry of Health into disrepute.
