Circle Footbridge pulled down, commuters unhappy

A section of the footbridge at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra was on Sunday night pulled down to enable work on the interchange to progress

Traffic has been diverted for motorists plying the Circle-Achimota road due to the demolition.

A visit by Radio Ghana to the area saw commuters using the shoulders of the road to get to transport terminals.
