IPR congratulates Spio-Garbrah as new Minister of Trade and Industry The Executive Council of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana, has congratulated Ekow Spio-Garbrah on his appointment as the new Minister of Trade and Industry. The Council hopes that Mr. Spio-Garbrah will bring his wide range of global experience, strong communications and public relations skills to bear on his new national service role. A statement signed by the Executive Secretary, Joseph Dottey said the IPR is confident that he will perform creditably in his new role to the admiration of all and to the satisfaction of the appointing authority. The Council trusts that his role at the Trade Ministry would translate into positive FDIs and a positive balance of trade that would help to propel the gains that government is making to better the lots of the Ghanaian. The statement added that, this prestigious designation is a strong indication of his level of dedication, professionalism and determination to be of service to the good people of Ghana. The Executive Council believes that he will be a credible ambassador of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana for which he is a fellow and to the President John Dramani Mahama. Source: GBC
