Dansoman Estate land in family ownership dispute

The Dansoman Estate land which was valued at about GH¢50 million in 2004 is in dispute as to which family owned it. 

Two petitioners on Tuesday appeared before the Judgement Debt Commission claiming ownership of the said land. 

One petitioner, Nii Adotey Din said the property belongs to five families but the other petitioner, Nii Kwadwo Danso who was represented by Abekah Fazet said a court ruling was given in their favour compelling the state to offer a GH¢ 50 million compensation which has not been paid till date.
