Komla Dumor Memorial Foundation Board Announced The Dumor Family has announced a seven-member Board of Trustees for the Komla Dumor Memorial Foundation. The Foundation has been established to promote and sustain the legacy of Komla Dumor, the Ghanaian broadcast journalist who until his sudden death was the Presenter of the BBC television program, “Focus on Africa.” Komla Dumor passed on the 18th of January this year. The Board of Trustees has Dr Mrs Mary Chinery Hesse, a retired Ghanaian Diplomat and currently a member of the African Union Panel of the WISE as its Chairperson. Other members are, Sir Sam Jonah, a frontline African Entrepreneur and Businessman, Dr Joyce Aryee, a leading Communication Expert, Dr Korshie Dumor, a Physician /internist, currently working with the Mercy Hospital System in the US, Kiki Gbeho, Chief of the East and Southern Africa Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA of the United Nations, Akwasi Sarpong, a Broadcast Journalist with the African Service of the BBC in London, and Roland Akosah a Business Strategist.
