MOFA, WCF sign pact to improve food security

The Ministry of Agriculture and the World Cocoa Foundation WCF have signed a memorandum of understanding for the implementation of phase two of the WCF's cocoa livelihoods programme. 

The programme is to expand partnership base with government institution to focus on Food crops. 

The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Fiifi Kwetey at the signing ceremony said the agreement will improve food security. 

It will also attract the youth into agriculture thereby reducing unemployment and rural urban migration.
